In Liberty Village, we also have staggered terms for the Board of
Directors. But we would like
everyone to take a turn at being a director. We have limited the terms
so people can only serve one term at a time to prevent the "same old
crowd" routine.
We asked for volunteers and, so far, have received enough for the open
positions, and then we agree
by acclimation. We prefer not to have a vote or judge the amount of
support a person has, because we
feel everyone will get a turn. 

Our Board really just sets policy and the yearly budget. Most of the
work is done in the teams.
