ChildCare (was Giving or Taking)

Here at Eno Commons where 14 out of 22 households have 19 kids (10 and
younger), we tried that approach and the parent who organized the childcare
ended up paying the lion share.

I like the approach we initiated this year. ChildCare is a budget item.
The money to pay the childcare providers is kept in a cash box with a
notebook to record the transactions. As we know our meeting dates through
2002, I am able to secure commitments from the childcare providers long in
advance.

I am now working on how we are to entertain the kiddies with the colder
weather soon upon us. Suggestions would be appreciated.
