I would think scheduling some social events would make sense.  Potluck
dinners.  Social events can include discussions about the future.
Try the circle process. **

A lot depends on how far your group is currently spread
geographically. If most of your members have email, having a mailing list
where non-business discussion is encouraged is helpful. Use it to
brainstorm about and plan social events.  Set up a buddy system to keep
non-email users tied in.
