Just a point about conduit specs: Please ask them to run SOME sort of twine or string in the pipes if they will be installed empty, and to tie off the string at each conduit end cap. I know that profesionals can do wonders with snakes for installing wires in empty conduits, but for us amateurs, we found it was WAY easier to have pull-ropes already installed when we pulled wire ourselves. (Also, we had to train ourselves to make sure to pull replacement pull ropes every time we pulled one out.) We used nylon twine, but other alterbatives ar fine. -Jim Snyder-Grant Where we just moved the billing for the shared DSL line to the condo budget from a stand-alone billing scheme, now that every house is wired (after 3 years of a slowly-growing pioneer set of wired households) jimsg [at] newview.org 18 Half Moon Hill Acton MA 01720 New View Cohousing http://www.newview.org _______________________________________________ Cohousing-L mailing list Cohousing-L [at] cohousing.org Unsubscribe and other info: http://www.communityforum.net/mailman/listinfo/cohousing-l
