i obviously know schmatz about non-monogamy in today's social circles. this
discussion is the first time i've even heard the term "poly". i was coming
from the perspective of the early seventies, mostly the new york city scene,
where 'non-monogamy' became one of the imperatives of the just-barely-out-of
the-closet lesbian/feminist movement. in practice, it meant that those women
who wanted/were able to find multiple partners, did so - and did it without
regard for anyone else's (like current partners) feelings.

from the discussion on this list, it seems like what ever folks want to do
privately, in whatever multiples, is fine in cohousing, and i'm all for that
(as long as it doesn't scare the horses :-) ).
