> Why base your theory on circles > and present it in hierarchical terms in triangles, for example? This kinda talk makes me feel goosebumpy with excitement! My experience, living in community, is that we are trying to do something that we haven't had the opportunity to absorb from our culture. The idea of neo-tribalism may be dreamy, however we've given ourselves the task of exploring new ways of being together. As one Pinakarri person said, the day we moved in (and 3 months before she moved out), "now the experiment begins". Eintein said something like, "you can't solve the major problems of the world by using the same paradigms that created them in the first place". Consensus, sociocracy, co-operacy, dialogue, deep listening, etc - I'm willing to play with many different methodologies, concepts and perspectives on achieving the same thing. The key is the paradigm shift that we each need to make, which comes from keeping open minded and open hearted about the possibilities. > think there will be more discussion here on Sociocracy and cohousing but > some of the theory discussions will send people who just want a construction > loan over the top.
