We have a big "stuff" exchange once or twice a year where everyone brings things to the Common House they don't want, and then takes what they do. The only problem has been getting rid of what nobody wants, as our Goodwill here is quite picky. We have a "free" box at the common house which is always there, and people exchange clothes, books and other items in this box. Two families here share 1 car, which is the second car for each family. One familt bought a share of it from the otehr family, and they use a book to keep track of who's got the car, and share maintenance and all that. We do support a community farm with 15 of our 32 households getting a box of organic produce once a week. We also have a community garden that gets swept into common meals when the yield is high enough. We have a bike shed, but like Sharon said, not enough space! We also share a workshop and craft space with a kiln. So far no new mugs for the common meals though!
