How are > we doing, guys? This is a wonderful idea for a cohousing competition. Probably the only kind cohousing people would accept. Cradle to Cradle is the book to read to really get this concept down. Wonderful book, printed on a new kind of "paper" that is completely reusable with no waste. It is also waterproof. I recently got rid of my car to save time and energy, get more exercise, and live a simpler life. But I also order most everything on the internet so the cardboard boxes are driving me nuts. (Trips to the recycling bin, and breaking them all down is pretty boring.) I just can't think of anything to reuse them for. The wonderful thing about Cradle to Cradle is that the authors focus not on doing without but creating products that are endlessly reusable rather than "downcycled" as in cradle to grave. My current lust is for dishes that compost. My last desire in the world is to do the dishes _again_. Favorite line from Phyllis Diller, the problem with doing the dishes is a month later you have to do them again.
