During summer months, most of the large boxes or pieces of cardboard and a
fair amount of newspaper from our recycling center get used as mulch/weed
barrier under wood chips in the vegi garden paths, beneath trees and shrubs,
and in areas we aren't yet ready to plant. In fact, we run out and haul
more home from elsewhere!
