IMO it's also likely that someone who owns gun(s) has attitudes about how to resolve conflicts which are quite far apart from my own's. This doesn't mean that I wouldn't, under any circumstances, allow guns on site - but it certainly makes it a problematic issue for me. In case of smoking in the CH: If you want the place to be accessible to all members of the community then, yes, someone smoking inside will interfere with that intentionality. We, for example, have a number of people in the community with asthma or allergies. Right now I might be the only one with chemical sensitivities, but until recently there was another one. There might be others in the future. (And that's in addition to the fact that everyone's health gets compromised to a certain degree by inhaling cigarette smoke).
