Dear CoHo folks, I had asked the question/s re: radiant floor heat. Hopefully someone wanted info re; the noise in these systems. Hadn't been a concern of mine/not the question I'd asked!!! [I found that after a few yrs, our baseboard stopped making those sort of pleasant gurrgly noises!] Anyway, thanks for responses about installing on upper florr [that is one of the concerns: to do a slab of light concrete upstairs or to install coils between floor joists.] Also : I think I've seen mention of new technologies, panels that can be installed with tubing already inbedded. Here? In CoHo Journal? appreciate if anyone can help with: feedback/evaluation if you have experience with such, and info about these [actual name/manufacturer contact info] if possible. Once again, infinite thanks to Fred for Hosting this List, which has been both interesting in general, and v specifically helpful!! best, Ruth Hirsch, Cantines Island CoHo, Saugerties-on-Hudson,NY _______________________________________________ Cohousing-L mailing list Cohousing-L [at] cohousing.org Unsubscribe and other info: http://www.communityforum.net/mailman/listinfo/cohousing-l
