At Cantine's Island we do not lock the Common House, in fact would find it
anathema to do so. However we did have food stolen from refrig once and kids
felt "fingered." So the compromise we arrived at was to lock the
refrigerator. That position also made in response to concern of some that it
was not responsible-since we had beer and wine there -- to provide
temptation. So far appears to work other than the times we misplace the key!

Thanks for all your work for all of us.

Janet

Saugerties, NY where we are learning a lot about integrating our second
generation of members. Some things we really didn't do right but lovely new
members are teaching us.
