Karen and all,

There is currently a small group of folks in Flagstaff who are in the
planning stages, hoping to develop a Cohousing community there in the
future. In fact, one of its core group, Architect Paul Moore, was one of the
founding Architects of Manzanita Village Cohousing in Prescott, AZ, which is
about 90 miles south of Flagstaff.

Manzanita Village is a lively community currently searching for more
families with kids to round out our inter-generational profile. Our
community is partially built, with 14 homes finished and occupied, 14
additional lots sold (and building to begin January), and 8 lots still
available. We have a lovely Guest House for visitors who want to come and
stay with us for a time.

If you wish to learn more about Manzanita Village, log on to
www.manzanitavillage.com or contact us at bljoan [at] msn.com.

Best Wishes for 2003,

Joan Burrell
Manzanita Village of Prescott, where we had a beautiful white Christmas in
our mountainside Village.
