I'm new to this list so I am unaware of the "CoHo Directory." Please inform me. I've been in touch with the Woodlawn Group in Chicago but still getting to know the issues, existing groups, etc. Thanks, Terry Potter Chicago, IL -------Original Message------- From: Carol Braford <braford [at] sbcglobal.net> Sent: 02/09/03 09:36 AM To: cohousing-l [at] cohousing.org Subject: [C-L]_Ohio cohousing > > TR, What's happening in Dayton? A new group forming? Would you like to be listed in the new coho directory The Cohousing Network is about to put out? What about you, Cincinnati groups? How about a little synopsis of each group? Ohio isn't even on the list yet on cohousing.org. I lived in Granville, Oxford and Middletown for several years; now creating cohousing in St. Louis. Let's hear it from Ohio. I suspect TR's address has changed. If your address changes, please unsubscribe the old address and subscribe the new. Email me if you need help. Note: I also deleted a bit of the digest verbage that was still present. -------------------- FORWARDED MESSAGE FOLLOWS -------------------- If nothing else, this discussion reinforces my belief that the tired old false dichotomy of liberal-conservative needs to be put to rest. There are, after all, liberals who are greedy and who espouse liberalism just because they think they'll profit from it; there are conservatives who are public-minded and who think conservatism really brings good people together in productive ways. The attitude toward community isn't consistent in either side of this forced dialectic.
