What's happening in Dayton? A new group forming? Would you like to be
listed in the new coho directory The Cohousing Network is about to put out?

What about you, Cincinnati groups? How about a little synopsis of each
group?

Ohio isn't even on the list yet on cohousing.org.

Thanks, Carol for thinking of us out here in Ohio. We will send in our synopsis for the directory.
The Cincinnati Ecovillage group now has a link from the communities page on the national
site (http://members.aol.com/cintiecovillage/). Big news for us! We have a lead on a
beautiful 7 acre hillside site next to a proposed new park. We are working with the city
to get the right to place a 24+ unit "green" cohousing development there.
(maybe that coffee at Kaldi's with you and Tom and the representative from City of
Cincinati community development Department helped him take our proposal seriously!)

Our group really appreciated a member of the national steering committee
attending a Sunday gathering and meeting with the city rep while you were in
town recently. That is the kind of networking that is important to getting more
communities built.

We are hoping to do a "Getting it Built" Workshop with the Aurora Illinois
group which has been rescheduled for March 1+2 if we can get 20 people. We are
contacting the other three cohousing groups in Ohio to see if they can send reps (Dayton,
Akron and Grailville at Loveland)

Is there anyone else in a forming group in the midwest who would like to attend?
