Kudo to Liz Stevenson for "hunkering down and trying to be more
forgiving." You hung in there, had some faith, and recognized the
vehicle for change when it appeared.

You also opened a door for another, highly significant kind of
communication that must surely be having an effect on the lives of the
children in your community. An effect that I would wager will last
throughout the span of their lives. To be seen, to be understand as you
are, not as someone would like you to be, is a tremendous gift.

This is a great story of patience, understanding, and perseverance.

I'd love to write a book filled with these kinds of stories.

Thank you,
Cheryl
