We have an Administration Committee that does the job of the Board of
Directors. Each title that needs filling is filled, although in a completely
meaningless way to how we run the community. There is no power in the
titles, except that you need someone who can sign papers, etc. It's
convenient to have all those people on the committee where the oversight is
done. Some might call this the steering committee, which is what ours was
when we were still in the development process.

The people on this committee are largely lawyers and an accountant. Most of
us are simply insanely grateful that we don't have to have anything to do
with this. Every year, we build a giant straw man and burn it in honor of
their efforts.

No wait, that's the Burning Man Festival. Sorry, I was mistaken. We just
think about it occasionally, and shudder.
