Having a couple of model railroading buffs in our group, we've come up
with the idea of a semaphore with color block: green for "Walk on in",
yellow for "I'm busy, but not unavailable", and red for "Do not disturb".
And I love the term "free-range children". That can have both negative
and positive connotations, all of which are most appropriate!
