One thing I forgot to say about Harmony Village is that we have some VERY IMPORTANT tasks that we are dedicated to and value a great deal. The garden is one of these. And our garden guru is amazing. (published author David Wann -- The Zen of Gardening in the High and Arid West < http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/1555914578/qid=1058033237/sr=2-1/ref= sr_2_1/104-5898522-0823918 >) We are considering some ways of generating revenue from the garden as well. We would never say that window painting is "more important" than creating a vital and evolving community garden. Or that recycling isn't "critical." It is just, as Rob said, a matrix of tasks. And a way of trying to protect the financial investment of everyone in the comm'ty while at the same time allowing everyone the flexibility to follow their interests/passions. -- Cheryl Charis-Graves Harmony Village Cohousing Golden, Colorado http://www.harmonyvillage.org _______________________________________________ Cohousing-L mailing list Cohousing-L [at] cohousing.org Unsubscribe and other info: http://www.cohousing.org/cohousing-L
