No real crime problems here in Harmony Village. Some petty theft several years ago. We also live just down the hill from a juvenile detention center. Once or twice, we've had the K-9s sniffing around. But it's a small town, really. And we're surrounded on 3 sides by open space (well, we were; now it's a golf course). I feel fine leaving my doors unlocked, including my car (in a carport close to the common house). Unless I am gone for an extended period. It might be a different story out on the street, where the cars are less visible to residents. -- Cheryl Charis-Graves Harmony Village Cohousing Golden, Colorado http://www.harmonyvillage.org _______________________________________________ Cohousing-L mailing list Cohousing-L [at] cohousing.org Unsubscribe and other info: http://www.cohousing.org/cohousing-L
