I think people who have been on the list for a long time will understand
exactly who I am and what I am talking about. To assume that I am making
negative judgments about other people is in itself a HUGE judgment.

The point is that the vast majority of people want to LIVE in cohousing --
they don¹t want to theorize about it or discuss the details. They want to
get on their lives. The kind of discussions we have here, and I know of no
other place to have them (am I missing something?), are the kind the do not
want to hear much less participate in.

And they live in their own community. Nice that others exist -- they are
proud of being part of a "movement" but basically they have lives that are
not focused on any of the issues that we discuss here in detail.

To grow cohousing we need to find ways for those who just want to get on
with living, to also be good participants without being discussers and
analyzers -- which is what writing and maintaining a dialogue on the list is
often about.
