Don't you talk to people *face to face* about such issues?? Email conversations are very useful, but IMO they are (most of the time) somewhat of a pale shadow of real life connections. I often have the kind of discussions we have "here" with people in person - Including but not limited to cohousing people. Process issues come up everywhere, and are not unique to cohousing. As a peace activist, I find myself discussing issues of decision making a whole lot. My cohousing experience has enriched my understanding of power issues, consensus, the nature of desirable meetings, and so on - but it's also the case that my experiences elsewhere bear upon how I see cohousing, and what I can bring to it.
