Wow, as a long time lurker on this list who passionately wants to live in
co-housing but ended up after a long stint of single-parenting with a healthy
productive adult son and no money to buy property in California's inflated
market, I profoundly hope that more co-housing communities consider this
possibility.   Some of us have the requisite community spirit and a stable
income, but lack the wherewithall to invest financially.  I'm hoping this an
idea that takes off.
