Advance Notice of Sale at Cambridge Cohousing (MA)

A 3 bedroom apartment in Cambridge Cohousing will be offered for sale in the
next week or two.

Cambridge Cohousing is a vibrant community with a diverse mix of families
with young children, teenagers, singles and couples, ranging in age from 1 to
85 years old. Residents own their own units (apartments or townhouses), and
share a wealth of community spaces and activities which you can be involved in
to the extent you choose. Some of the things that go on here include: common
meals 2 - 3 times a week, holiday gatherings, poetry readings, unique events
like our annual "No Talent" show, and an Eco-Team which includes some
neighbors. Our common spaces are available for private events such as
children's parties, class potluck dinners, etc. Community members enjoy a
range of common resources, including
our outdoor play structure, exercise room, recreation room with piano and
pool table and our outdoor ice skating rink. We are in
walking distance to both Graham & Parks and the Peabody Schools, and a 10
minute walk from the Porter Square T (subway and commuter rail) and shopping.

The unit has 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, and its balcony overlooks a large lawn and
garden area. Many children live in the vicinity of this unit. Your children
will have access to common house building, with the common dining room, living
room and fireplace, common bathrooms, children's play rooms and laundry room.
The unit has been designed with wide doors and hallways to facilitate
accessibility. The unit is 7 years old, and occupied by its original owners
who are moving to another in Cambridge Cohousing.

Note the unit is not for sale at this time. We expect it to go on the market
in the next week or two and are trying to let families
know about it in advance to have a little time to think about it. We'd love
to have another young family join our community. For more information, email
hoganpatricia [at] gmail.com or telephone Tricia Hogan at 617-354-1217. We can
add you to a list of interested parties, and update you when the unit comes up
for sale. Please see our website (below) for further information about our
community.
