Hi all,
I've been sharing this thread with a friend of mine who is an NVC
trainer and has long been interested in cohousing. She asked me to
share these resources, which I am happy to do:

I want to share several additional options to learning NVC:

1) I'm pretty sure that there are people who are sharing NVC in the Madison
area, just not certified trainers. To find them, you can go to the CNVC
website (www.cnvc.org) and look for contacts in your area.

2) Email CNVC (cnvc [at] cnvc.org) and request the staff person to post to the
trainers' network to see if someone might be visiting your area.

3) Areas that don't have trainers often invite trainers to do workshops or
retreats. Again, this could be posted to the network, or you can try to
connect with NVC practitioners elsewhere who may recommend specific
trainers. (There is great diversity in how people share NVC and different
people connect more or less with different trainers).

4) Communities sometimes sponsor a member to get more training so that
person can share what they've learned with the group and lead practice
groups. You can explore some of these options through our nonprofit
organization, BayNVC, one of the most active NVC organizations in the world.
We offer classes, workshops and retreats locally and nationally as well as
working with organizations, we've worked with cohousing communities, and
we'd love to do more of that!
