Maybe this question has been done to death, but I haven't yet tripped across an answer which excited me. I'm seeking design ideas for roads, parking, and deliveries. Imagine residents who don't hate cars. They would rather look at gardens than parking lots, but also want to unload their cars safe from rain. What sort of road/parking/loading zone arrangement does this suggest? A parking spot behind each unit? A carport behind each unit? An alleyway behind units, which gives a way to approach units with a semi moving truck, but not ordinarily park there? An alleyway that isn't exactly paved? Coalesce carports into one really big carport on the common house, like a hotel's, where residents can unload and stash their goodies on the porch during short-lasting downpours? Communal parking lot on the carport side of the cohouse for normal use, but keep the ring alleyways for bringing those secret Christmas presents home (and perhaps firetruck access)? Brian
