Dear Rob,

My neighbor sold me 1/2 of her car's current value. We agreed to log our 
mileage and split the cost of the gas by the number of miles each of us use. 
We will pay for 1/2 of all auto repairs. Since we were both using the same 
insurance company, the insurance company agreed to add us to her policy at 
no extra charge.

We allow other to borrow the car at the suggested rate of $0.50 per mile 
with an agreement to pay the deductible for any accidents (each user agrees 
to that.)

The original owners hold the title in their name, but we did write up an 
agreement agreeing to share the car. We did not involve a lawyer.
