Hi all, I'm new to the mailing list, & not currently (sadly!) a cohouser. I read the McCamant book a few years ago, & know that cohousing has roots in Europe, particularly in parts of Scandinavia, but have not been able to find any information on whether or not cohousing exists in Finland. (I am half-Finnish, but live in the US, & my Finnish is less-than-fluent.) Does anyone have any contacts, either in Finland itself or elsewhere in Europe who might be able to give me some information? I haven't even been able to find out what the word in Finnish would be, & Googling in English hasn't netted me much. During my recent vacation to Finland, I read--& loved--the Reinventing Community book, & it inspired me to try harder to figure out if I can combine my goals of living in Finland & living in cohousing! Thanks for any help. johanna
