It just keeps coming up.  We're seriously considering doing our own
reserve study based upon our feelings on the matter and recommendations
from a previous thread on this list.

We're looking for examples to help us scope the work (and hopefully move
 us along).

Does anyone here have any reserve study material that you can share with
us?  We're looking for inspection/maintenance schedule/plan examples,
reserve study examples.  Anyone with a spreadsheet that calculates
amount needed to reserve based upon an item's life, current price,
interest rate, etc?  That would be ideal.  We're currently looking into
if we can find a CPA locally that could design/build us a
spreadsheet/mechanism, but somewhere there might be a group out there
that has done it and wants to share.  It would be a great thing to "open
source" to the greater community for those of us who want to do it
ourselves... (that, and web site templates, common meal coordination
software...  I'm starting to build a list for an open-coho project) the
groups can share improvements as the global experience accumulates.
That seems to be part of the intellectual property that these reserve
study companies hold back so that they can keep their customers coming
back (the other being their expertise is assessing the actual state of
things and what needs replacement)

FYI -- Our excavation phase is moving along.  We've got pads in for half
of our buildings and utilities are currently being dug.  We're wading
through the city building permit process, and hopefully that won't hold
us up too long.  We want to start forming and pouring the radiant floors
soon.  It's all so exciting!  We still have units available.  Check out
