PLEASE delete any quoted material that is not needed for context. -------------------- FORWARDED MESSAGE FOLLOWS -------------------- We have gotten many responses re: Urban Infill, etc. However, we are still struggling with Terms. That's why we haven't posted again yet. Studying responses and trying to formulate an intelligent question to ask for more clarification. We've read Karen Hester's Link at cohousing.org re: how she started TESCHMEL CREEK COHOUSING. VERY IMPRESSED WITH THAT. Considered modeling ours after TESCHMEL CREEK as a RETROFIT MODEL. Now AWARE of the Term URBAN INFILL. So, to those of you who are RETROFIT or URBAN INFILL: 1) How did you START in the EARLY PLANNING STAGES? 2) Were there existing STRUCTURES? 3) If there were EXISITNG STRUCTURES, THEN how did you RECRUIT & SELECT INDIVIDUALS/COUPLES/FAMILIES for the RENTAL and MORTGAGE UNITS, RESPECTIVELY. 4) How did you start out with your CORE GROUP in PLANNING the Project? Respectfully, HOLISTIC NEIGHBORS create2gro [at] aol.com
