today's Sunday New York Times magazine (September 10, 2006), near the
end of "Living in the Round", item by Camille Sweeney:
"Key" magazine (Real Estate special magazine), "Fall, 2006" (included in Sunday NYT all editions), appears in print on page 78, part of "Homesteads" roundup of funky alternative homes:

title: "The 21st-century _______". I'll let you guess which word starting with "co" they use...Nice pix of Cantine's Island in Saugerties, NY and inspirational quotes from Coho/US Board President Rick Mockler at Muir Commons in Davis, CA and a funny story from Robert Heinich at Eno Commons in Durham, NC. A whole paragraph of background, and a citation of The Book. Coho/US Research Director Betsy Morris helped with the data (although just two numbers made it into print).
This piece has been under development for many months, believe it or not!
Rainesat the Art of Community conference in Seattle, along with Joani Blank and Betsy and Craig and some other Bay Area folks including someone from Mariposa Grove Cohousing in Oakland:
