Cohousing-L Mailing List: Securing exercise equipment?

Hello,

I am looking for information about how other communities have secured  
and protected their exercise equipment in the Common House. Our  
efforts have resulted in broken, unusable equipment, apparently from  
inappropriate use by children and/or "unauthorized" users.

Any and all advice from your own experience is welcome!
