It was indeed a real commercial stove that I worked
on. Not only were the burners too close together to
accomodate large pots but it needed repair frequently
and cost a small fortune. 

I'm wondering if anyone has tried handling their
dishes with just household dishwashers instead of a
commercial sterilizer and how that worked for them?
