Hi everybody,

Can anyone refer me to lenders in New England
(specifically, Maine) who do construction
loans/mortgages on energy efficient/alternative energy
homes? 

We are building a small house in rural Maine. Its
primary heat source is solar energy, stored as heat in
a solar closet. Our conventional lender isn't liking
that too much, and their appraiser's having a hard
time with it as well. 

I'm thinking that if anybody in our region is capable
of financing a project like this, someone on this list
knows who they are.
