Quoting Jenny Williams <jlgw [at] cableone.net>:
... Some people were offended by some postings, so we created an email policy, but some people aren't following that. There are a wide variety of opinions on how to handle this, from complete censorship, to free speech (that's the side I'm on).
... and who has time to be the censor?A long long time ago before I discovered listservs, I use to have everyone in the community send me the emails they wanted to post to the group. I maintained the latest email list and would forward their posts on. What a pain. I'm glad I did not need to also review what others had written.
What do the folks say after someone points out that they are not adhering to your email polcy?
