Dear Co-Housers, Hello from the Milagro Co-Housing Community in Tucson, Arizona! I have a question that I hope other cohousing communities can assist me in answering. Milagro has CCNRs which meet standard home owners associations requirements. In addition, we have a policy manual, formally adopted by our community, which is more detailed and describes how our community is organized, our decision-making process, etc. My question is, are there other communities who have developed internal policy manuals like these? Are these policy manuals legally tied to the CCNRs? If they are, do these policy manuals have the same force and effect as CCNRs do? I am in search of examples of what other cohousing communities are doing about this. Or, to learn of any resources that can help us address these questions. Thank you, Libby Dingeldein Milagro Co Housing Community Tucson, Arizona www.milagrocohousing.org<http://www.milagrocohousing.org/>
