Hi all!

Sharon is correct.  There had been an active cohousing group in the DC
area in the early to mid 90's.  I met Don in '92.  He got control of
the Takoma Village site in '98 but by that time the group had quit
meeting.  Don hired me to organize a group around the TVC site.
Naturally ... I contacted as many members of the former group as
possible and two of the households joined and live here today. Don
used a standard development model of the developer assuming all
(almost all, that is) of the risk and maintaining the majority of the
control.

Now that the history lesson is out of the way ... Katie -- what's the
interest in the "Don Tucker" model?  Anything cookin' of interest to
this list?
