That has been true here in a limited sense. Our Common House has been the venue for some off-site groups (i.e Footpath community meetings which a fledging cohousing development, Society for Creative Anachronism dances, Eno River Association staff meetings, a local unitarian neighborhood circle to name a few.) However, each group/event was sponsored by a Eno Commons member. We started organizing efforts to staff/sponsor a soup kitchen and clearing trails on Eno Commons Day (anniversary of first move-in) to give back to the community at large. We will probably do a fund raiser for the Democratic presidential nominee. As always, individuals take the initiative and neighbors do what they can. So long as these off-site group events do not conflict with EC community-sponsored events, these off-site group events events sponsored by a EC members may use the Common House. -Robert Heinich Eno Commons Cohousing Neighborhood www.enocommons.org Durham, NC where the recent rain has eased some of the water restrictions we had ----- End forwarded message ----- -- Robert Heinich Eno Commons Cohousing Neighborhood www.enocommons.org Durham, NC
