Want to create a transcript?

I've received a couple of requests for transcripts of our recent
Economic Crisis & Cohousing conference call:

http://www.cohousing.org/workshops

Today I got a bid from an online commercial service that seems cost
prohibitive (not to exceed $250) - I can't justify that level of
Coho/US spend without knowing I can get the costs covered. I'm sure I
shop it around and get a better price. To cover costs, we could offer
it for sale, but that takes staff time to set up the order process,
and then deal with the inevitable customer services issues which crop
up for every service or product we sell - and we still risk a loss if
sales are insufficient.

I'm wondering if anyone out there might be interested in creating a
transcript on a volunteer basis? It would give you a chance to REALLY
hear what was said during the call. If we CAN get this done free, then
Coho/US can give it away. Otherwise, I'm afraid this is just another
good idea that some would like that lack the resources to make it so.

We're open to other ideas - perhaps a topic summary, with some time
codes for good start points? Whatever the approach, I'm afraid we
cannot significant devote staff time.

So, please let me know if you would like to spend a few hours to
really understand what was said during the call while doing some
helpful documentation.
