Dear Cohousing Friends,

We live in interesting times. Times that scream innovation in all its  
forms. Cohousing communities are in the special category of  
neighborhoods who have a better than average chance of weathering the  
current challenges because of our collaborative nature and focus on  
lower carbon living.

As part of our effort to promote more sustainable living, we have  
launched a website called www.OneMillionGardens.ning.com where I ask  
that any of you already living in cohousing or not, add in your  
garden to help us document and encourage the creation of at least  
1,000,000 food gardens in 2009.

It only takes a minute to add your garden to the list and answer a  
few simple questions. Together we can help show how cohousers are  
helping build food security in these challenging times.
