 Hi all

Lancaster Cohousing is getting busy now we have a site!

*Update *

We’ve had lots of visitors to our beautiful site and a few new joiners. We
had our first design workshop with the architects recently and they are now
working on initial drafts of site plans. There are lots of surveys going on
and professionals being hired. We also spent a wonderful sunny evening at
the site celebrating the project!

*Events this weekend*

There is a monthly brunch and tour this Sunday (27th Sept) and the 4th
Sunday every month; please come along if you’d like to meet some members and
see the site.
11am Brunch, Whale Tail Café <http://www.whaletailcafe.co.uk/>, 78a Penny
St, Lancaster, LA1 1XN
1.30pm tours of the site, Halton Mills*, Halton. Meet by the mill building.

We will also have a presence at ,Renewable Ripley’ on Saturday!

*Joining*

As we are busy with our design process any applications that we receive over
the next few months will be processed at the January General Meeting. The
deadline for these applications is 18 December.

*Home Prices*

Earlier applicants will pay less for their homes. The discounts on the home
prices for early joiners have ended and there is a 10% supplement on the
original target prices for households who join now. This means that the
current ‘lock in’ values are between around £120k and £270k. These target
prices are valid until we have 70% of our members (number TBC but at least 3
more; chosen based on the date of application). Please email if you want
more details of the prices of the units or of our variable pricing policy.

*More Information*

Please see the website for more information, or email/phone if you can’t
find it there. Best wishes,

Kathy

directions (but don't be confused as some more buildings have been
built
since then!). The marker is by the mill building. You reach it via Mill
Lane heading east from the small bridge over the Lune and can recognise it
by a large 'North West Engineering' sign.
