Mediawiki seems clearly to be the software to use. The problem is figuring out
whether I can handle the leap from software to content. The vocabulary is mind
bending. It's get out your dictionary every minute. When all work on a webpage
had to be coded in html, it was coders only. Now knowing code helps but it
isn't necessary. Wordpress has it's own language but there are lots of guides
written in plain English and when the language gets tough you can back off and
do something another way.

With MediaWiki I haven't been able to determine if I put in the time I will be
able to accomplish the task without out blowing my neuro-circuits, putting all
my other projects totally behind schedule, and not accomplishing anything
anyway.

Another problem with Google Sites is that our people have to have Google
Accounts to use it. Our people are just up to their ears in accounts and
passwords.
