Hello all --

With sadness I read that Brooklyn cohousing has relinquished its  
efforts to build a cohousing community in that borough of NYC.

I know how hard this group has worked to bring their dream to  
reality.  It points up just how difficult the market is right now. In  
any circumstance, development is a complex and difficult   
undertaking.  Right now ... it can be brutal.

My thoughts go out to the members of Brooklyn Cohousing.  I wish for  
each of you that you find the community you hoped for ... and that it  
be sooner rather than later.
