Two cohousing projects were recognized by AARP and the National Association of Home Builders for the Livable Communities Award. Schemata Workshop was awarded in the architect category for Daybreak Cohousing in Portland, OR and Eldergrace in Santa Fe, NM was awarded in developer category. Thanks to whomever it was that posted the awards program to the list last year! It is notable that 2 out of 5 awards went to Cohousing projects! Perhaps this will be a tipping point for cohousing! grace h. kim schemata workshop (sent via mobile messaging)
