Howe school in the Longfellow neighborhood of Minneapolis has been vacant for several years and is for sale. I had a query from a neighborhood person about the possibility of cohousing there. Here is an image of the site. The wole block in the middle. http://mn.cohousing.org/howe/site1.png I'd welcome comments on feasibility etc. BUT then the tornado hit my neighborhood. Closeset damaged is two uprooted trees on the far side of the park about 2 blocks away. But we were without power for 30 hours and my Internet connection is still down. (I'm using a computer at the school where a neighbor works between helping with an art project (woodworking.) I manage to get net access daily but my list admin tasks are being done minimally for a bit more. Fred -- Fred H.
