One of the delights of Cohousing is that each community has these discussions
based on the values of the people in each community.

We then develop community specific policies.

New communities look at existing policies for advice, and for ways of dealing
with their own communities particular foibles and interests.

So there is not actually value in us on this list, all from different
communities, and from none, trying to resolve the "cats should be inside" or
"cats should be outside" debate. It doesn't even help if we understand the two
points of view, here on this list, because we don't need to come up with a
solution here in this on-list community.

Each community needs to have that discussion themselves and nothing we say here
will resolve it for them.

What IS interesting is how people have resolved it in their communities. So
posts of how a community has resolved this, or how they have managed the
discussion, or how their solution is working, or is not.

These are the things that will contribute to other groups handling these issues.
