Hello,

I heard about one experience of a share house (or group house) within a
cohousing in the US. It was about ten years ago and was called 'lighthouse'
I believe within the Sharingwood Cohousing.
Share house initiatives are often 'temporary', it is likely that this
example does not exist anymore.

However in the Netherlands, several Cohouqings do have a clustered
structure for some or all of their units. I visited 'Wandelmeent' in
Hilversum for instance, they have

This is good for senior clusters, young people clusters and all kinds of
mix. They have common space at cluster level (shared living room) and at
cohousing level (common house, laundry, guest rooms, workshop, etc ...), the
common houses are usually a little smaller and tend more to be like a
neigbourhood cafe than in other cohousing projects.

(I send this mail in CC: to Peter Bakker, coho platform Netherlands, who
knows much better about this and can correct where needed)

Hope this information is useful
kind regards,
