Sharon, I sympathize and empathize with your members TV frustration.

TV's are cheap, even free at times. How about a separate TV for games, for
the DVD & VCR, and then the satellite TV-- or better yet, ditch the
satellite TV. It's usually the most complicated.

The only other solution I have is to hire a professional to set it up with
plenty of connections/cables so they don't need to be changed.
