Chicken Club currently at Tierra Nueva - www.tncoho.com: Buy in is done by shares which entitles you to Fresh Eggs every week (as available) and the opportunity to feed chickens on a rotating schedule. We will start with a $30/ share buy in which will help us purchase a new flock and keep them fed for a few months. Two week rotations for feeding and distribution of eggs will start when we have a small meeting. For basic calculations, one share is about 1 dozen eggs per week. Depending on our cost per chicken and feed fluctuations the eggs are about $2-3 per dozen and new buy ins will happen as the fund is depleted. This will fluctuate somewhat with weather and time of year. Fresh eggs will spoil you for any other, and you will have the opportunity to participate in our yearly(?) chicken club dinner.
