At Liberty Village Cohousing in Libertytown, MD we have a chicken club which
maintains the Chicken Palace. There are three adult members who share costs on
a semiannual basis. We sell extra eggs in the common house. This defrays some
of the feed costs. We have not attempted to amortize the construction cost of
the Palace, which I bore, before there was a club, and which was about $1800 of
materials.
